CIRI-CIRI ORANG YANG SEHAT MENTALNYA
(SELF-ACTUALIZING PERSON)
1.        Mempersepsi  kehidupan atau dunianya sebagaimana apa adanya, dan 
         merasa nyaman dalam menjalaninya.
2.       Menerima dirinya sendiri, orang lain, dan lingkungannya.
3.       Bersikap spontan, sederhana, alami, bersikap jujur, tidak dibuat-buat dan 
         terbuka.
4.       Mempunyai komitmen atau dedikasi utnuk memecahkan masalah di luar 
         dirinya (yang dialami orang lain).
5.       Bersikap mandiri dan independent.
6.       Memiliki aprsiasi yang segar terhadap lingkungan di sekitarnya.
7.       Mencapai puncak pengalaman, yaitu suatu keadaan seseorang yang

HIRARKI KEBUTUHAN MENURUT ABRAHAM MASLOW
1. Kebutuhan Fisiologis: kebutuhan manusia yang paling dasar, kebutuhan untuk mempertahankan hidupnya secara fisik, yaitu kebutuhan akan makanan, minuman, seks, istirahat dan oksigen.
2. Kebutuhan  Rasa Aman: kebutuhan ini sangat penting bagi setiap orang, baik anak, remaja, maupun dewasa. Pada  anak kebutuhan akan rasa aman ini nampak jelas. Orang dewasa yang sehat mentalnya, ditandai dengan perasaan aman, bebas dari rasa takut dan cemas.
3.  Kebutuhan Pengakuan dan Kasih Sayang: Kebutuhan ini dapat diekspresikan dalam berbagai cara, seperti: persahabatan, percintaan, atau pergaulan yang lebih luas. Melalui kebutuhan ini seseorang mencari pengakuan, dan curahan kasih sayang dari orang lain.
4. Kebutuhan Penghargaan:  Kebutuhan ini meliputi dua kategori: a) harga diri, meliputi kepercayaan diri, kompetensi, kecukupan, prestasi, dan kebebasan. b) penghargaan dari orang lain meliputi pengakuan, perhatian, prestise, respek, dan kedudukan (status).
5. Kebutuhan Kognitif: Secara alamiah manusia memiliki hasrat ingin tahu (memperoleh pengetahuan, atau pemahaman tentang sesuatu).  Rasa ingin tahu ini merupakan ciri mental yang sehat. Kebutuhan kognitif ini diekspresikan sebagai kebutuhan  untuk memahami, menganalisis, mengevaluasi, menjelaskan, mencari sesuatu, atau suasana baru untuk meneliti.
6.  Kebutuhan Estetika (order and beauty): ciri orang yang sehat mentalnya.  Orang yang sehat mentalnya ditandai dengan kebutuhan keteraturan, keserasian, atau keharmonisan dalam setiap aspek kehidupannya, seperti dalam cara berpakaian, dan pemeliharaan ketertiban lalu lintas.


 TOURIST ATTRACTIONS IN YOGYAKARTA

1. Kraton jogja (Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat) is the primary kraton of the Yogyakarta Sultanate. The complex consists of a number of low-lying buildings such as audience halls, museums, and the residences of the sultan and the queen. It is a popular tourist destination.
2. Borobudur temple has 1460 relief panels and 504 Buddha effigies in its complex. Millions of people are eager to visit this building as one of the World Wonder Heritages. It is not surprising since architecturally and functionally, as the place for Buddhists to say their prayer, Borobudur is attractive. Borobudur was built by King Samaratungga, one of the kings of Old Mataram Kingdom, the descendant of Sailendra dynasty. Based on Kayumwungan inscription, an Indonesian named Hudaya Kandahjaya revealed that Borobudur was a place for praying that was completed to be built on 26 May 824, almost one hundred years from the time the construction was begun. The name of Borobudur, as some people say, means a mountain having terraces (budhara), while other says that Borobudur means monastery on the high place.
3.  Fort Vredeburg is a fortress built by the Dutch in Yogyakarta during Colonial times. It is located in front of Gedung Agung, one of seven presidential palaces in Indonesia and the Sultan Palace called Kraton. It was built in 1765 to protect the Dutch governor. It is surrounded by a trench that is still visible. This square-shaped fortress has a watchtower at each of its four corners. In the past, the Dutch troops patrolled frequently on its wall. Nowadays, the fortress has become a museum. In some buildings in the fortress there are dioramas on Indonesian history.
4.  Prambanan temple is extraordinarily beautiful building constructed in the tenth century during the reigns of two kings namely Rakai Pikatan and Rakai Balitung. Soaring up to 47 meters (5 meters higher than Borobudur temple), the foundation of this temple has fulfilled the desire of the founder to show Hindu triumph in Java Island. This temple is located 17 kilometers from the city center, among an area that now functions as beautiful park.
5. Malioboro street lined with stores of batik, handycraft, and fashion products Jalan Malioboro is a major shopping street in Yogyakarta, Indonesia; the name is also used more generally for the neighborhood around the street. It lies north-south axis in the line between Yogyakarta Kraton and Mount Merapi. This is in itself is significant to many of the local population, the north south orientation between the palace and the volcano being of importance.
6. Tugu Jogja is the most popular landmark of Yogyakarta. This monument is located right in the center of the crossroad between the Mangkubumi, Soedirman, A.M. Sangaji and Diponegoro roads. The Tugu Jogja that is almost 3 centuries old has a very deep meaning and it keeps some history records of Yogyakarta.
7.   Baron beach is located in the Village Kemadang, Tanjungsari District, about 20 km south of the city Wonosari (40 km from the city of Yogyakarta). Shore who witnessed the meeting between seawater and freshwater, which is the result of the river that empties into a corner of the beach baron, as a symbol of two hearts berpadunya although with different backgrounds.  The tourists will appreciate the beauty of the wind waves deliver tuk making out with sand, so patiently waiting for her lover. 8. Kukup beach is located in the Village District Kemadang Tanjungsari Gunungkidul Yogyakarta. With white sand that is the hallmark of the beaches on the south coast of Java island, beach Kukup presents a view that is so beautiful. Coastal breeze to make the visitors feel comfortable being here. Sit back and relax on the rocks enjoying the rhythm of solid standing waves that reconciling the heart. On the beach there is a Kukup rock jutting into the sea separated from the mainland by a bridge that unfolds. Hiking path that had been made ​​for access to the reef is increasingly spoiling the visitors.

CURUG PANGANTEN

Curug Panganten is one of many waterfalls in Bandung. The waterfall’s height is about 25 meter and it is located in Desa Padaasih, West Java province. To get to Curug Panganten we will pass by Katumiri in Cihanjuang which is approximately 7 km from Cimahi by taking direction to Parongpong.

Is there anyone who knows why does it call Curug Panganten ..? why is it named Curug Panganten? According to local people, one upon time, there were newlyweds who were doing the photo shoot marriage when suddenly a boulder fell from a cliff hit directly on the newlyweds and they died instantly. That is why; the waterfall is named Curug Panganten. Panganten means both bride and bridegroom in Indonesian Language.

To get to the location of Curug Panganten, it takes about 2 miles from Katumiri’s entrance. To go to Curug Panganten we have to pass thorny and downhill path, so please be careful. And do not forget to prepare your camera because the paths we will pass by, you’re going to see the scenery of the cliff and the view of Bandung city from an altitude of about 1,050 km above sea level. After walking about 40 minutes we will be crossing the bridge made out of bamboo to cross the river, not far from the bridge we will soon reach Curug Panganten. The stream from of Curug Panganten is clear enough, so you can play or go swimming. And in the area near the waterfall we have to be careful because in that area there are wild monkeys, do not approach the monkeys or give them food because it is dangerous.

VERB PATTERNS



VERB PATTERN  1 & 2 

Verb Pattern 1  :  In this pattern the verb has a direct object. This is either a noun or pronoun.
          Example :      Subject  + Verb         Direct Object
                                     I            know           your name.
                                    He         cut                himself.
                                    He         dug              a deep hole.
                                   She       laughed        a merry laugh.
Notes :
v  No. 2    Note the use of a reflexive pronoun as object.
v  No. 3    Note the object of result (a deep hole).
v  No. 4    Note the cognate object (a merry laugh).
           cognate = having the same source of origin.
v  All the transitive verbs may be used in this patterns.

Verb Pattern 2  :  In this pattern the object is a to-infinitive, which may be preceded by not.
           Example :    subject    +    verb          (not) to-infinitive etc.

                                  It has           begun             to rain.
                                  He              pretended       not to see me.
Notes :
v  No. 4 and 5 The subject is impersonal it.
v  The phrasal verb come on means start, begin.

v  There is a group of verbs that takes a plain infinitive as object. These are the auxiliary verbs : do, does, did (emphatic), as in : he did come yesterday; can, may, must, shall, will, could, might, should, would, need, and dare.
            The phrases had better and would rather also belong to this group, as in :
You’d better start at once.
I’d rather not go.
